Hi Mates, Wow…How Good is this Rain….

We know a lot of you guys are on Holidays in The Bay but just go out & get wet.

The super keen surfers can catch a few waves from The Pass thru to Clarkes Beach being the only option.

Everywhere else is not too flash.

Still a good day to do the Lighthouse Walk and check out the ocean.

Not sure about Golf today….. Have Fun….Gaz

B.O.M: Weather for Byron Coast:

WINDS: Northeasterly 20 to 25 knots, up to 30 knots north of Cape Byron in the Arvo.

SEAS: 1 to 1.5 metres, increasing to 1.5 to 2.5 metres during the morning.

SWELL: Easterly around 1 metre.

WEATHER: Rain & Clouds & Wind and Sunshine one day & Chance of a thunderstorm.

Byron Surf 17.1.2020

Hi Mates, Some Great Rain this morning in The Bay with maybe more to come.

The north winds are up and into the surf this morning that is giving us some funky waves.

The Pass thru Clarkes will be the best for surfing lessons and a few windy waves for the longboards.

Cosy Corner will be the best for the experts with plenty of corn flake weed there & heaps of motion in the ocean with the strong rip in the corner beside the rocks.

Golf for sure!!!.

B.O.M: Weather for Byron Coast:

WINDS: Northerly 10 to 15 knots turning northeasterly during the afternoon and evening.

SEAS: Around 1 metre.

SWELL: Easterly around 1 metre inshore, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres offshore.

WEATHER: Clouds & Rain & Sunny Again with the chance of a thunderstorm.

Hi Mates, No Surf Report to print out as my computer is playing up…

Classes today are booked out but Tuesday to Friday at 8am and 1pm.

The swell has picked up in The Bay today with a new south east to easterly swell rolling in.

The Pass thru Clarkes will be the best spot for Learners and Longboarders to hit the waves today.

Along Tallow Beach early for the best waves before the winds boost.

Golf in the Arvo if the rains stay away but awesome to play in the rain yesterday..

Mon 13 Jan:

Low: 4:21 am: 0.21 m

High: 11:15 am. 1.84 m

Low: 5:46 pm. 0.21 m

High: 11:41 pm: 1.19 m

Winds: Southeasterly 15 to 20 knots.

Seas: 1 to 1.5 metres, increasing to 1 to 2 metres offshore north of Cape Byron.

1st Swell: Southerly around 1 metre inshore, increasing to 1.5 metres offshore.

2nd Swell: Easterly around 1 metre.

Weather: Cloudy. 50% chance of showers.

Hi Surfers, We have the big king tides this week slowing down the small surf early but during the day will be ok. The Wreck for the learners and lessons. Wategos will have a few longboard waves later on if the winds are ok.

Hi Mates, Another awesome day in Byron Bay with great fun waves at The Pass again all the way thru to Clarkes Beach being the pick for Lessons and Longboarders and the kids to get some fun waves there too.

Hi Mates the surf has backed off again but we still have some good fun waves at The Pass through Clarkes Beach being the best for Longboards & Learners. Experts can get over to Tallow Beach where you can get a few funky beach breaks. Have Fun. Happy Days. G’Day Surfers we have another day of good fun waves in Town as well as Tallow Beach.

The Pass to Clarkes Beach is unreal again for longboarders and learning to surf. The Wreck has waves there as well as Tallow Beach before the south winds smash it during the day then Golf for sure later on this arvo.

WINDS: Southeast to southwesterly 15 to 20 knots, reaching up to 25 knots offshore south of Yamba early in the morning. Winds tending northeast to southeasterly 10 to 15 knots in the evening then becoming northeasterly about 10 knots in the late evening.

SEAS:  1 to 2 metres, decreasing to 1 metre during the afternoon.

SWELL: Southerly around 1 metre inshore, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres offshore.

Hi Mates, Another Tropical day in The Bay with perfect waves at The Pass thru Clarkes being the best for Longboards and Lessons.

Wategos also has a few waves there today as well as The Wreck & Belongil before the winds smash it later.

Tallow Beach for the experts only as always as there is still more swell there again today..

Winds: Northerly about 10 knots increasing to 15 to 20 knots in the middle of the day. Winds reaching up to 25 knots inshore during the afternoon and evening.

Seas: Around 1 metre, increasing to 1 to 2 metres south of Cape Byron during the afternoon.

Swell: Southeasterly around 1 metre.

Weather: Mostly sunny.

No surf report to print out yet buy am trying to get it fixed asap.
