Hi Surfers, We have the left over North wind swell coming into The Bay this morning that will drop off during the day. South winds are forecast to build and bring some southerly swell with it as well

We have a solid RIP right off the Groin this morning. Have fun chasing a few waves in The Bay today & Golf during the arvo. Gaz

B.O.M: Weather for Byron Coast.

Strong Wind Warning for Thursday for Byron Coast

WINDS: Southeast to southwesterly 10 to 15 knots tending tending northwest to northeasterly in the morning ahead of a southerly change 25 to 30 knots in the late morning and early afternoon. Winds easing to 20 to 25 knots in the evening.

SEAS: 1 to 2 metres, decreasing to 1 metre during the morning, then increasing to 2 to 3 metres around midday.

SWELL: Northeasterly 1 to 2 metres, dropping to 1 metre by the arvo.

WEATHER: Clouds & Rain and Sunny again.
