Hi Mates, we have a Stella day in The Bay today with small and perfect waves at Clarkes Beach and The Pass for the learners and longboards. Wategos have fun waves there too. Tallow Beach for the experts to chase some waves along there today.

Golf is looking good too. Gaz….Yew!

Byron Bay Waves Today

Hi Surfers, Smaller Surf out there today with more options for surfers to get wet. We have a low tide early then with the incoming tide during the day we will see more waves around for the experts. Hi Surfers, Cyclone Uesi has arrived in Force and the swell up & down the coast is cooking. Plenty of motion in the ocean with lots of water moving and is ONLY for the Experts.

The Pass to The Wreck is the only place here or Snapper & Noosa. Novice surfers stay out for your own safety & tomoz may be ok. Gaz

WINDS: Southerly about 10 knots, tending south to southwesterly 10 to 15 knots south of Yamba. Winds reaching up to 20 knots offshore south of Yamba during the arvo.

SEAS:  1 to 1.5 metres. SWELL: Easterly 3 to 4 metres, tending southeasterly 2 to 3 metres.

WEATHER: Sunny & Clouds & The chance of a thunderstorm.

CAUTION: Large and powerful surf conditions in the afternoon and evening are expected to be hazardous for coastal activities such as Surfing, Crossing Bars by boat and Rock Fishing.

Byron Bay Surf Lessons 13.2.2020

Hi Surfers, The swell from Cyclone Uesi has finally hit The Bay and will increase during the day. There is plenty of motion in the ocean with lots of water moving as well as fresh water running in from all the rain we are getting. The experts can get waves by jumping in at Wategos and getting out at The Wreck. Novice surfers should stay out of the surf for your own safety for sure. Gaz

WINDS: East to northeasterly 15 to 20 knots turning southeasterly in the late afternoon.

SEAS:  1 to 1.5 metres. SWELL: Easterly 2 to 2.5 metres, tending northeasterly 2 to 2.5 metres around midday. WEATHER: Clouds & Showers heavy at times in the morning and early afternoon. The chance of a thunderstorm. G’Day Mates, More Hot weather & small waves out there in The Bay. A great day to get wet then go play golf during the Arvo. The Wreck has some good fun waves there for the novice surfers & over at Tallow Beach breaks for the experts today with a few peaks there as always.

G’Day Surfers, Light winds out there early that may build during the arvo. Smaller swell hitting the beaches with fun waves from The Pass thru Clarkes for novice surfers and Cosy Corner again today for the experts.

The Byron Board Paddle is on Today from Wategos Beach over to the Byron Bay Surf Life Saving Club. Since 2009 there has been more than 1000 participants paddle across The Bay. Byron Bay SLSC host the water safety as well as a BBQ & refreshments at the Byron Bay Surf Club after the Paddle where everyone can catch up & share the great day. Registrations 8am – 10am at Wategos Beach – racing starts at 11am. A Great Fundraiser for The Bay. Have a Great Day today in The Bay..

G’Day Surfers, we have more north winds coming into The Bay again with a sweet east swell coming in.

Go Surfing then Golf if the rain stays away.

Tomoz is The Byron Board Paddle that goes from Wategos Beach over to the Byron Bay Surf Life Saving Club.

Since 2009 there has been more than 1000 participants paddle across The Bay.

Byron Bay SLSC host the water safety as well as a BBQ & refreshments at the Byron Bay Surf Club after the Paddle where everyone can catch up & share the great day.
