Sunday 26th July Byron Bay

G’Day Mates, A great day to watch the rain as we have strong winds that are forecast to swing to the west that may give surfers a better chance to chase a few waves later on today or tomoz. There is a fair amount of swell pushing in but no-one surfing anywhere in The Bay today. A chance of a thunderstorm later too. No Golf today either with too much water.

B.O.M: Weather for Byron Coast:

WINDS: North to northeasterly 15 to 25 knots shifting west to northwesterly during the day.

SEAS:  1.50 to 2 metres.

SWELL: Northerly 1.5 to 2 metres.WEATHER:  Strong winds Rain and the chance of a thunderstorm again.

G’Day Mates, We have some rain around today that is forecast to get heavy during the day with the chance of a thunderstorm later.

Sweet waves in The Bay with The Pass thru to Clarkes beach the best in town. Wategos beach also has a few there for the longboarders.

Tallow Beach has a few peaks along there early for the experts today before the winds swing on-shore during the morning. Wet Golf later…

WINDS: Easterly 10 to 15 knots, reaching 20 knots offshore during the day.

SEAS:  1 to 1.50 metres. SWELL: Easterly 1 to 1.50 metres.

WEATHER:  Rain and the chance of a thunderstorm. Rain possibly heavy at times in the morning and afternoon.

Hi Surfers, Another day of small and sweet waves in The Bay with The Pass thru to Clarkes beach the best inside the Cape. Tallow Beach has waves again there for the experts only with a few peaks along there before the winds swing onshore and the rain comes in..

Heaps of bait fish at The Wreck this morning. Golf later after you watch the whales from the lighthouse. Have a great day in The Bay. Gaz

SWELL: Southerly 1 to 1.50 inshore & increasing to 2 metres offshore.WEATHER: Clouds, maybe rain & Sunshine again.

Tuesday 21st July

Hi Surfers, we have a few waves early on the high tide being the best at Clarkes Beach this morning as the low tide during the Arvo gets too shallow on the superbank. Longboarders can surf at Wategos and The Pass all day.

Experts can chase some peaks along Tallows. Golf at The Byron Bay Course this Arvo too.

Heaps of Whales off Cape Byron as well today.

SEAS:  1.00 to 2 metres.

SWELL: Southerly 1.50 to 2.00 metres, increasing to 2 to 3 metres in the arvo.

Forecast for Saturday until midnight

Hi Mates, Still have a solid swell coming up the coast and surfing today is for the experts only again as we have very strong currents coming in again.. The Pass thru Clarkes is the best by far..

Strong Wind Warning for Saturday for Byron Coast:

WindsSoutherly 15 to 25 knots, reaching up to 30 knots offshore during the day.

Seas1.5 to 2 metres, decreasing to 1 metre later in the evening.

SwellSoutheasterly 3 to 4 metres, decreasing to 2 to 3 metres during the morning.

WeatherPartly cloudy. 50% chance of showers offshore, near zero chance elsewhere.

CautionLarge and powerful surf conditions are expected to be hazardous for coastal activities such as surfing, crossing bars by boat and rock fishing.

Wednesday 15th July

G’Day Mates, Super Strong winds are totally blowing out the surf in The Bay again today.

South westerly winds are howling up the coast for the next few days. There is way too much motion in the ocean for surfing at the moment but once it slows it will be Awesome for sure.

Late golf at The Byron Bay Course will be on or walk the Lighthouse and enjoy the view..

Gale Warning for Wednesday & Thursday for the Byron Coast:

WINDS: Southwesterly 20 to 30 knots & building in the afternoon up to 35 knots.

SEAS:  2.00 to 3 metres, increasing to 4 metres during the afternoon.

SWELL: Southerly around 2 to 3.50 metres, increasing to 3 to 4.5 metres in the arvo.

WEATHER: Sunshine and maybe clouds later.

CAUTION: Large and powerful surf conditions are expected to be hazardous for coastal activities such as Surfing, Crossing bars by boat and Rock fishing.

G’Day Mates, The strong winds are blowing dogs off chains this morning with the super strong west to south west winds coming up the coast with a super strong southerly swell building during the day today.

Learning to surf is not really an option today and Tallow Beach is only for the experts to get wet and cold. A windy day for Golf in the arvo..

WINDS: Westerly 15 to 25 knots turning southwesterly 20 to 30 knots in the afternoon. Winds offshore reaching up to 40 knots during the afternoon and evening.

SEAS: 1 to 2 metres, increasing to 2 to 4 metres during the afternoon.

SWELL: Southerly around 1 metre, increasing to 2 to 3 metres during the afternoon.

WEATHER: Sunny with Clouds.

CAUTION: Large and powerful surf conditions are expected to be hazardous for coastal activities such as Surfing, Crossing bars by boat and Rock fishing. 

Sunday 5th July Full Moon

Hi Mates, A Full Moon rising this arvo at 5pm. We have seen a pulse in the swell from the south coming into Tallow Beach today where the experts can chase a few peaks there.

Learning to surf is too small again today and too much water moving for novice surfers to get to Tallow beach so go play Golf …..
